Description Continental LB
The Continental LB summer tire is specially designed for motorcycles operating in any conditions. This manufacturer is renowned for its technological advancements, so the tire was manufactured using the latest technologies and modern equipment. After production, it undergoes a thorough electronic and visual inspection, which is why it stands out for its high quality and excellent performance characteristics.
Asymmetric tread pattern design
The tread pattern design is quite unusual, especially its central part. In the center of the tread, there are two rows of blocks in the shape of "arrows" that have different directions. Thanks to this unusual solution, excellent stability during straight-line movement and quick response to steering wheel turns were achieved. The tread pattern has an increased depth, which improves the tire's mileage and traction characteristics on any surface.
An unusual solution was also used when creating the shoulder area. It consists of several small grooves that not only quickly remove water from the side but also increase stability during any maneuvers. At any tilt of the motorcycle, the Continental LB tire provides excellent stability and handling. The tread consists of several parts with different rubber stiffness. This allows for maximum contact area, regardless of the motorcycle's tilt.
Optimal rubber compound
A lot of time was spent creating the rubber compound. Therefore, the resulting composition has excellent driving qualities. Special additives increased the elasticity of the tread, allowing for increased traction on wet surfaces. At the same time, speed characteristics were improved, and the braking distance was reduced. The new rubber compound has excellent wear resistance, ensuring an extended service life of the tire.
Key features of the Continental LB tire
- excellent directional stability and quick response are achieved due to the application of asymmetric blocks in the central part of the tire;
- increased service life is ensured by special additives in the rubber compound;
- improved stability during maneuvers is achieved due to the application of a new shoulder area design;
- increased contact patch at any tire position is ensured by a tread consisting of layers with different rubber stiffness.
