Universal tread pattern
The new tread pattern of the Continental ContiRaceAttack has deep channels of an unusual shape across its entire surface. They quickly remove water from the contact area, minimizing the possibility of aquaplaning. The extended profile has increased stability and handling.
To provide excellent stability during maneuvers, the shoulder area was strengthened, featuring a special sharp edge. The new tread design allowed for improved speed characteristics and reduced braking distance. When moving on any surface, the tire has clear handling and quick feedback.
High-strength carcass
To provide increased protection against overloads and damage, a high-strength carcass was used. It was manufactured using a new technology, with high-strength materials and special steel rings. The new carcass design also ensured optimal pressure distribution inside the tire and confident handling during straight-line movement.
Improved rubber compound
An improved rubber compound was used in the creation of the tire, including many new components. This allowed for increased elasticity of the tread, which improved traction on wet road surfaces. The increased wear-resistant qualities ensured a longer service life. The ability to withstand increased temperatures without possible damage was also increased.
