The Bridgestone Hoop B03 motorcycle tire is designed for scooters and mopeds. It is characterized by stability on wet surfaces, precise handling, quiet and comfortable ride, long service life, and reliability.
The tire's tread features a large number of drainage grooves. Most of them are directed against the direction of travel, which further increases the intensity of water diversion from the contact patch. At the same time, the grooves' walls become edges that provide reliable traction on wet surfaces, both on straight road sections and when maneuvering.
The profile of the tire's tread is optimized to not only increase the contact patch but also maintain its size and shape over a maximum range of bike lean angles. This solution improves the traction properties and their stability, especially when changing direction.
The tire's sidewalls have an increased height. This is largely the reason for the soft, comfortable ride that this model is beneficially distinguished by. This allows the tire to effectively absorb a significant portion of the impact force that occurs when driving over irregularities.
