The summer motorcycle tire Bridgestone Exedra G702 has a rather specific scope of application. Like the rest of the Exedra line, it is designed for use on large touring bikes, and as a representative of the 700 series, it is designed for installation on motorcycles made in the "American style". Under this term, the Japanese tire giant means not only Harley-Davidson and Indian bikes, but also numerous customs made in a similar style.

Despite the fact that bikes in the "American style" are mostly intended for cruising, most of them are equipped with very powerful engines, often equipped with turbocharging. First of all, this is ensuring high resistance to aquaplaning, which is achieved by actively accumulating excess water, which is removed from the contact patch.

Another important task of this tread element is to divide the contact patch into two parts. On the one hand, this made it possible to significantly improve the directional stability, and on the other hand, to ensure maximum contact patch sizes at various angles of motorcycle inclination.
