Description Bridgestone BattleCross X20
The Bridgestone BattleCross X20 motorcycle tire is designed for cross-country bikes, providing a universal solution to achieve maximum efficiency on low and medium load-bearing ground surfaces. In such conditions, the tire demonstrates exceptional traction and directional stability, as well as a soft ride on uneven terrain for a sports tire.
The tread pattern features an open design with a large number of individually standing blocks. The distance between the elements is large enough to prevent the tire from clogging with soil particles, even in wet and muddy conditions. The tread blocks have a tapered profile that further increases pressure on the surface, improving grip.
The tread pattern differs for the front and rear tires. The front tire features smaller blocks, which allows for a greater number of them despite the narrowness of the tire. The "chessboard" arrangement and the presence of elements on the border with the sidewalls provide stability and reliability of control even at maximum bike lean angles. The rear tire features massive blocks with elongated transverse concave edges that allow for exceptional acceleration and braking on dirt surfaces. Since a significant portion of the blocks are located at the edges of the tread, the rider has the ability to start accelerating and braking, essentially while in the initial or final phase of a turn.
Key features of the Bridgestone BattleCross X20
- The tread pattern with an open design is virtually "uncloggable" on dirt surfaces;
- The wide blocks of the rear tire's tread provide maximum traction in any conditions;
- The tapered blocks on the edges of the tread improve grip and handling at high lean angles.
