In both options, the tread pattern has an open design with significant space between the elements. This allows the tire not to "clog" on dirt surfaces, maintaining stable traction with it. The key difference between the patterns is the design of the blocks themselves. The rear tire is characterized by larger element sizes and their elongated shape. Due to this, elongated oval edges are formed in the contact patch, which allows for effective implementation of traction and braking effort. At the same time, the "chess" arrangement of the blocks made it possible to increase their number and provide a more even distribution of load on the road surface. As a result, both traction and stability properties have improved.
The front tire has significant differences in the tread pattern. Here, small blocks of a pointed shape prevail. The elements touch the surface at different angles. In combination with the narrow profile of the tire's tread, this allows for more precise control over the bike's trajectory, including at maximum lean angles.
