The commercial tire Yokohama RY407 is designed for highway tractors and large-capacity trucks. It is intended for use on the steering axle, and its use is allowed on all axles when operating on highways. It is characterized by fuel efficiency, directional stability, and comfort when driving at high speeds, as well as a long service life.
The tread pattern has a closed design with six continuous ribs. Rigid elements provide stable traction during straight-line driving, precise handling during maneuvering, reduced rolling resistance, and increased resistance to abrasive wear. Wide longitudinal grooves and numerous S-shaped lamellas allow maintaining reliable traction properties on wet surfaces. The all-steel carcass increases the tire's resistance to damage and allows for repeated restoration of the tread.
