The commercial tire Yokohama 104ZR can be installed on any axle. It is suitable for buses. The operational properties are selected based on the characteristics of regional and highway transportation. In such conditions, it is distinguished by even wear, improved traction on wet surfaces, fuel efficiency, and high mileage.
The tread pattern is made in a standard design for such tires with 5 enlarged ribs. The high rigidity of these elements and the large width provide even wear and reliable traction properties.
The tire uses the SC-Sipe lamelization technology. Narrow slits are arranged in such a way that the risk of wear on the edges of the longitudinal ribs is reduced.
The tire is characterized by a long service life and fuel efficiency. This is due to several factors. One of them is the Zenvironment technology. This complex of solutions that affected the rubber compound and the carcass structure allowed to significantly reduce the rolling resistance and the wear rate of the tread.
