Description Tyrex All Steel Road DR-2
The Tyrex All Steel Road DR-2 tire is recommended for use on the driving axles of highway tractors and large-capacity trucks. It is characterized by enhanced traction properties on wet and snowy roads, strength, and resistance to damage, as well as a long service life.
The tread pattern features a combination of massive rectangular blocks arranged longitudinally. The elements distributed across five ribs reduce rolling resistance, prevent rapid tread wear, and provide good directional stability at high speeds. The multidirectional edges formed by these elements improve traction properties on wet and snowy roads. Notably, the blocks and the lamellas cut into them have a wavy profile. This feature significantly improves traction properties on wet and snowy roads while reducing rolling resistance and wear. Another important distinction of the tire is the compound used in its manufacture. It is notable for its ability to retain a significant amount of elasticity at low temperatures, which has a positive impact on the tire's performance on winter roads. The use of modern components in its composition has made it possible to increase the strength of the rubber mixture against rupture and stretching, resulting in excellent resistance to abrasive wear and the formation of cracks and small fissures.
Key features of the Tyrex All Steel Road DR-2:
- A large number of blocks and lamellas with wavy edges provide excellent traction on wet and snowy roads;
- The all-steel carcass increases the tire's load-carrying capacity, its resistance to impact, and allows for the possibility of retreading the tread pattern;
- An optimized rubber compound that retains a significant amount of elasticity at low temperatures.
