Description Transtone Super 709
Transtone Super 709 — a wheel solution for the drive axle of trucks operating in an intense mode. The main design feature — a large-block tread, designed to transmit the maximum torque to the road in any weather conditions. There are no compromises for comfort: only traction, directional stability, and predictable mileage.
Ribbed structure for precise handling
Unlike classic longitudinal ribs, the central zone is made up of blocks. This solution has two goals. Firstly, such elements create a variable stiffness of the contact patch, giving the driver a sensitive feedback. Secondly, the asymmetry improves the maneuverability of a heavy truck when parking and maneuvering in a limited space.
Massive lugs
The "shoulders" of the tread are the most loaded part when turning and rearranging. Engineers have also equipped them with off-road lugs, which act as active stops. When entering a turn, they first take on the lateral load, preventing the steerable axle from slipping. The lugs work like mini-paddles, improving passability.
Compound
The rubber mixture contains a special additive complex that increases resistance to wear. For the drive axle, this is a key parameter. Polymer modifiers have been introduced into the composition, which form a dense "armor" on the surface of the block, but maintain elasticity at negative temperatures. The result is a significantly increased mileage.
Key features of Transtone Super 709:
- designed for high torque of heavy trucks operating in urban and regional transportation;
- central ribs made of blocks provide sensitive handling and improved maneuverability;
- shoulder lugs increase resistance to lateral skidding in turns and improve passability;
- compound with additives significantly extends the mileage.
