Description Tornado GL691A
The Tornado GL691A truck tire is designed for mixed on- and off-road operation. This radial model can be mounted on various axles, and according to the manufacturer's catalog, is suitable for use on dump trucks and concrete mixers. The design focuses primarily on damage resistance and long service life.
Longitudinal tread pattern
The tread consists of continuous zigzag ribs. Winding longitudinal grooves run between them, while the shoulder areas feature short transverse sipes. This tread design combines solid central elements with segmented tread edges.
Construction for mixed conditions
The rubber compound is engineered for alternating road and off-road use and built to deliver high mileage. A reinforced belt and durable casing enhance the tire's longevity and help maintain its suitability for retreading. Damage resistance is especially important when operating on uneven surfaces.
