The Tomket TAP1 commercial tire is designed for long-term operation on regional highways and urban roads. It can be installed on any axle. It is characterized by increased strength, good traction and adhesion properties on dry and wet surfaces, reduced rolling resistance, and increased mileage.
The tread pattern is made in a popular design for universal commercial tires with a characteristic zigzag shape of longitudinal grooves. The stiffness of the ribs provides directional stability and ease of handling, reduces rolling resistance and wear. These properties are further enhanced by the flat tread profile. Numerous protrusions along its edges allow the tire to maintain efficiency on unstable, loose winter surfaces.
Key Features of Tomket TAP1
- solid longitudinal ribs and a flat tread profile provide stability at high speeds, prevent wear, and reduce fuel consumption;
- the zigzag shape of the grooves reduces the risk of aquaplaning and stone trapping in the tread;
- sharp-edged protrusions along the tread edges improve traction properties on snowy surfaces.
