The Satoya SD-070 truck tire is a highly specialized product, designed for use on wheeled construction equipment. In addition to obvious benefits, such as improved traction, this solution has reduced the abrasive effect on the tread, which has a positive impact on its wear resistance and, consequently, its service life. Furthermore, the flat tread profile, combined with the square shape of the shoulder blocks, has increased the tire's resistance to impacts when driving over rough terrain.
Increased load capacity
Even within its category, the tire has high load-carrying capacities, largely achieved through the reinforced carcass construction and optimized sidewall shape. The tire's carcass is all-steel and consists of several cords manufactured using modern winding methods. The sidewalls have an elliptical shape, which, thanks to the use of a steel cord, remains resistant to deformation even under the impact of heavy loads and shocks when driving over rough terrain.
