Description Sailun S850
Sailun S850 — is a balanced complex of solutions for mixed operating conditions, where asphalt alternates with gravel coatings. The model is focused on the field of freight transport, including long-haul transportation.
Ultra-strong carcass
The radial cord was designed so that the margin of safety is embedded not in the thickness of the rubber, but in the structure of the breaker layers. The use of high-strength steel cord with a variable weaving step made it possible to achieve a carrying capacity of up to 250% of the nominal load. This means that the tyre retains the geometry of the contact patch even under extreme overloads. At the same time, the sidewall remains elastic, absorbing shocks from road irregularities.
Heat dissipation as the basis of resource
The model features a developed network of drainage channels that perform not only a water-repelling function but also work as a heat exchanger. During long trips, air flows inside the grooves effectively dissipate excess temperature. This has allowed extending the operating interval and reducing the risk of thermal aging of the compound.
"Mixed" tread pattern
The tread block of the tyre is a thought-out kinematic scheme for mixed application. The central ribs are rigidly fixed to guarantee directional stability. The shoulder areas, on the other hand, have an aggressive angle of inclination and extended traction edges that come into play on soft coatings. Such a compromise provides equally confident acceleration and braking without vibration and skidding.
Key features of Sailun S850:
- steel breaker and carcass allow working with critical loads without loss of manageability;
- the drainage network of grooves dissipates not only moisture but also heat from the shoulder areas, extending the resource in a hot climate and during intense trips;
- the rubber compound with reduced hysteresis reduces rolling resistance on all types of roads, providing real savings;
- the geometry of the blocks ensures reliable grip on asphalt, gravel, and light off-road;
- stable characteristics, both on short city routes with frequent accelerations and on long highway trips.
