The tread pattern has a number of unusual design features. In particular, the longitudinal ribs in the central part contain S-shaped grooves that improve longitudinal traction. Since these elements are not made to the full depth of the tread, the indicators of fuel efficiency, directional stability, and resistance to uneven wear remain at the same very high level. The bottom of the drainage grooves contains special protrusions. They expel stones and other foreign objects stuck in the tread, reducing the risk of its damage. Another notable feature is the use of a rubber compound that reduces the rate of abrasive wear of the tread.
