Description Roadshine RS612
The Roadshine RS612 truck tire is designed for use on the drive axles of long-haul trucks. The beneficial features of this model include exceptionally high traction and adhesion properties in the longitudinal direction, which it demonstrates even in the most unfavorable road and weather conditions. Also, it is worth noting the good economic efficiency indicators achieved thanks to the attractive cost of this tire, as well as its low rolling resistance and durability.
Block design of a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern
Since this model was initially developed for use exclusively on the front axle of trucks, it is not surprising that Chinese tire manufacturers preferred to use a tread pattern with an open design. It contains a large number of rectangular blocks grouped into six longitudinal ribs and arranged parallel to the direction of movement. This design made it possible to achieve a practically ideal balance between most of the main operational characteristics of the Roadshine RS612 tire. When driving, it demonstrates excellent traction and adhesion properties in the longitudinal direction, good directional stability with sufficiently low rolling resistance.
Low noise and vibration level
Despite the large number of individual tread elements, this model has a relatively low noise and vibration level. This was made possible thanks to several design features. First of all, it is the multi-step arrangement of the tread blocks relative to each other. Also, it is worth noting the inclination of the formed transverse edges of the grip and the rounded corners. These features made it possible to significantly reduce the noise and vibration level, which, in turn, led to an increase in driving comfort, primarily acoustic.
Main features of the Roadshine RS612 tire
- the tire was developed taking into account the specifics of operation on the front axle of trucks;
- the open design of the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern provides excellent traction and adhesion properties even in the most unfavorable road and weather conditions;
- the longitudinal arrangement of the tread blocks improves directional stability and fuel efficiency;
- high load-carrying capacity, resistance to uneven wear due to the optimized distribution of external pressure over the contact patch thanks to the shape and size of the blocks;
- excellent self-cleaning properties of the tread are ensured by the large distance between the blocks, as well as special "stone ejectors" located in the longitudinal drainage grooves;
- excellent grip on wet and slippery roads is achieved by the open design of the tread, as well as special Z-shaped lamellas cut into each tread block.
