The commercial tire Powertrac CrossStar is designed for trailer equipment used in cargo transportation on paved roads. It is characterized by increased load capacity, fuel efficiency, ride comfort, and stability at high speeds.
The tread pattern features a closed design with solid longitudinal ribs. The elements in the shoulder areas are enlarged, which increases stability during maneuvering and promotes more even pressure distribution across the contact patch. The stability of all tread ribs against deformation increases stability at high speeds and reduces rolling resistance. The curved shape of the elements improves the effectiveness of the tread during braking and also reduces the risk of stones becoming lodged in it.
