Company Pirelli has long been a leader among manufacturers of tires for passenger and commercial vehicles. Pirelli FH 88 tire is a truck summer tire, used on the steering axle for long-haul transportation. As always, the production of this model used the latest patented technologies of the company. As a result, the tire has excellent operational characteristics, comfort, environmental friendliness, and economy. It has an ideal ratio of convenience, reliability, and cost. Also, the tire allows for repeated use, as it has a large margin of strength.
Unique Tread
A specially designed tread with optimally located blocks was developed using computer modeling. Three rows of central blocks provide excellent directional stability, maximum contact with the road surface, and excellent feedback. The multi-layer application of strong breaker belts made it possible to achieve even wear and increased service life.
Unique Cord and Rubber Compound
The rubberized cord of the Pirelli FH88 with increased strength prevents oxidation and provides resistance to fatigue wear. The rubber compound has excellent elasticity, preventing tears and damage to the tire due to increased tension. The rim ring has a cellular structure, ensuring rapid recovery of the tire.
Two-Layer Structure
The company uses a unique two-layer structure on almost all of its tires. As a result of this structure, the tread is made of two layers of rubber with different characteristics. The hysteresis characteristics of the inner layer rubber contribute to a reduction in operating temperature and rolling resistance. The outer layer consists of rubber that provides the tread with increased strength and minimal wear process.
The tire has increased reliability due to the use of patented, specially designed stiffness ribs in the shoulder area.
All these innovations have made it possible to obtain a tire that provides confident and safe movement on any road surface. The tire also meets all world standards for quality and environmental friendliness. The use of this model reduces the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, reduces fuel consumption while driving, and has increased comfort, meeting the EURO 2012 standard.
Main Features of Pirelli FH88 Truck Tire
