The commercial tire Otani OH-119 is installed on the steering axle. It is most effective when used in long-haul transportation. It is characterized by a low tendency to aquaplaning, directional stability, and easy control.
The tread part of the tire contains four longitudinal drainage grooves. Their increased volume reduces the risk of aquaplaning, and the curved shape of the edges reduces noise and prevents uneven wear. The shoulder ribs are made wider than similar elements in the central part. This solution increases stability when maneuvering and reduces tread wear. The central tread ribs contain long S-shaped lamellas. They reduce the length of the braking distance.
