Description Orium Urban Go S
The commercial model Orium Urban Go S is installed on the steering axle of high-capacity trucks. It has a wide range of applications due to its efficiency, which is equally high for both regional and highway transportation. In motion, it is characterized by precise handling, intense deceleration on wet surfaces, and a smooth and quiet ride.
The tread profile is designed to be nearly flat. In combination with the shoulder zone design, this expands the contact patch. Under load, it takes on a square shape, which is optimal in terms of weight distribution across the road surface. As a result, traction is enhanced and becomes stable on dry surfaces. On wet surfaces, effectiveness is maintained by four longitudinal grooves and numerous S-shaped lamellas arranged transversely.
Key Features:
- increased contact patch width and square shape improve traction and wear resistance;
- wavy drainage grooves reduce the risk of aquaplaning and increase directional stability;
- transverse S-shaped lamellas reduce braking distance;
- all-steel carcass and rigid shoulder ribs improve handling precision.
