Tire Omsk O-75m — a solution for commercial vehicles, whose route is a constant dialogue between civilization and a construction site. Designed for the leading axles of dump trucks, mixers, and tractors based on MAZ and KAMAZ, it is optimized for short and medium hauls, where equipment daily crosses the border between dirt roads and solid pavement.
Stability on asphalt and dirt
The key feature of the tread is the strategic location of massive central blocks according to the principle of partial overlap. This architecture solves two problems:
- on asphalt: the overlapping blocks form continuous ribs of rigidity, which sharply increases the directional stability, reduces tread deformation. The tire behaves predictably, like a highway one, providing stability when driving with a load at speed.
- on dirt: the same structure, when viewed in cross-section, forms a series of powerful, almost continuous transverse edges. When moving on soft or loose surfaces, these edges work like plow blades, aggressively biting into the soil and creating excellent traction.
Active self-cleaning system
Enlarged and direct water-mud drainage channels perform the role of a drainage system. They provide instant removal of dirt, clay, and silt from under the contact patch, preventing "clogging" and loss of traction. As well as effective drainage of large amounts of water, which maintains control on a wet road.
Structural durability
For conditions where impact loads are the norm, three levels of protection are applied:
- a high-strength cord frame with additional layers in the zone of maximum pressure;
- a ribbed profile and reinforced sidewalls, increasing resistance to lateral cuts and wear on curbs, stones, and hard soil;
- a special impact-resistant compound designed to resist abrasive wear, deep cuts, and cracking.
