The commercial tire Nokian E-Truck Steer is installed on the steering axle. It is adapted to regional freight and passenger transportation. It is distinguished by improved traction properties on wet surfaces and predictability of behavior in difficult road conditions.
The tread pattern has five longitudinal ribs, which increases directional stability and steering accuracy, and reduces rolling resistance. The edges of the elements have small grooves that reduce wear and noise when moving. The bottom of the drainage grooves has special wavy protrusions. They expel stones stuck in the tread, preventing its damage. The wider shoulder ribs further enhance stability when maneuvering, making the vehicle handling process easier due to more accurate and faster reactions of the tire to the driver's actions.
