The Mitas TR09 tractor tire is one of the latest developments of the renowned Czech manufacturer specializing in the production of tires for specialized agricultural and construction equipment. This model is distinguished by its excellent wear resistance and long service life.
V-shaped tread design
This tire is designed for operation on loose and unstable soils, which largely determined the choice of its creators in favor of a tread pattern with a V-shaped arrangement of elements. The main advantage of this pattern is exceptionally high traction and adhesion characteristics on sandy and muddy surfaces, as well as reduced rolling resistance.
The tread pattern of the Mitas TR09 tire consists of a large number of high and powerful blocks of multiangular shape. At the same time, each block starts from the center of the tread and ends in its shoulder area. Thanks to this, the tire has exceptionally high cross-country capability.
In addition, it is impossible not to note the different distance between the tread blocks. In the central part of the tread, it is minimal, which made it possible to significantly reduce the rolling resistance. In the shoulder areas, the blocks are spaced at a much greater distance, which completely eliminates the possibility of clogging the tread with foreign objects and soil particles.
Long service life
Since the tire is designed for operation in almost extreme conditions, special attention was paid to ensuring high resistance to aggressive external influences during its development. The tire has a very deep tread pattern, as well as reinforced sidewalls with excellent resistance to punctures and cuts. In addition, significant changes were made to the tread rubber compound. As a result, it was possible to achieve excellent resistance to any mechanical stress, including abrasive wear.
Key features
- Excellent cross-country capability on various types of surfaces is provided by the optimized V-shaped design of the symmetrical directional tread pattern;
- Massive tread blocks with very long edges allow the tire to demonstrate excellent traction and adhesion characteristics when moving on sand, mud, and stones;
- Reduced rolling resistance, thanks to the small distance between the blocks in the central part of the tread.
