The Mirage M100R summer tire is designed for prolonged and intensive use in commercial vehicles based on compact passenger cars. Despite its modest size for a "cargo" tire, it boasts high carrying capacity, durability, and wear resistance, combined with "passenger car" handling and traction.
The tread pattern features a combination of four wide longitudinal ribs. This design minimizes rolling resistance and wear, especially under the influence of high weight loads on the tire. The numerous slits cut into the ribs and their zigzag shape provide good traction properties on wet surfaces, along with wide longitudinal grooves capable of draining almost any amount of water from under the tire. Another feature is the use of a special profile shape for the tread. It expands the contact patch, improving traction and handling, and also promotes slower tread wear due to evenness and reduced pressure on the road surface.
