The commercial tire Matador T HR 4 is installed on the trailer axle. It is intended for highway and regional transportation. It is distinguished by high mileage, improved longitudinal traction and reliability in adverse operating conditions.
The tread of the tire has five ribs, the size of which has been increased due to the reduction of the width of the drainage grooves. This made the contact patch larger. The high deformation resistance of the ribs ensures an even distribution of the vehicle's weight and the cargo it carries. The tread pattern has numerous lamellas. The transverse edges formed by them provide reliable longitudinal traction on wet surfaces. Under the tread is a breaker, reinforced with an additional steel cord. It prevents uneven wear, reduces rolling resistance and the risk of puncture or cuts.
