Like the "original" offered under the Kumho brand, the Marshal KRT68 truck tire is designed for trailer axles of trucks involved in interregional freight transportation. The operation of this model is distinguished by very high economic efficiency, which is due to its excellent reliability, long service life, and relatively low cost.
Exceptional directional stability
The tread pattern of this tire features a closed design consisting of six longitudinal ribs. Their seamless structure, combined with fairly massive sizes, gives them resistance to deformative changes, allowing the tire to demonstrate high stability when moving at any speed, even under significant load. Another advantage of this design is the optimal distribution of external pressure across the contact patch. On the one hand, this prevents uneven wear, and on the other, it increases the reliability of the traction properties, especially when braking.
High resistance to aquaplaning
The increase in the number of tread elements has allowed South Korean tire manufacturers to equip the tread of this model with five drainage grooves. In addition, they have an increased internal volume, as a result of which the tire is characterized by very high resistance to aquaplaning.
Key features of the Marshal KRT68 tire
- increased tread depth, wear-resistant rubber compound, and the possibility of tread restoration ensure a very long service life of the tire;
- excellent directional stability at any speed due to the rigid construction of all tread ribs;
- good resistance to aquaplaning is achieved due to the significant internal volume of the drainage grooves.
