They are formed by numerous transverse lamellas located on the surface of all three longitudinal ribs located in the central part of the tread pattern. In contrast to the central part, the shoulder areas of the tread are very massive and wide longitudinal ribs, devoid of any individual elements. In combination with a wear-resistant rubber compound, this makes them very durable and rigid, which has made it possible to significantly improve a number of characteristics. First of all, this is an increase in the size of the contact patch, the shape of which has become close to rectangular, which contributes to the optimization of the uniformity of external pressure distribution over it. As a result, the tire demonstrates very stable and predictable handling, as well as excellent resistance to uneven wear.
