The LingLong LLD01 truck tire, designed exclusively for use on the drive axles of long-haul tractors, has a fairly wide range of applications. Firstly, it is provided by a size range that allows installation on wheels with a mounting diameter of not only 22.5, but also 20 inches. Secondly, versatility is achieved through a tread pattern that performs beautifully on both summer and winter road surfaces.
Multi-rib tread design
Since the LingLong LLD01 model was initially created with the specifics of operation in both summer and winter on the drive axles of long-haul tractors in mind, it was equipped with a tread pattern containing a large number of individual blocks. The large width of the tread allowed forming seven longitudinal ribs from them. This design, in combination with the shape and arrangement of the blocks, made it possible to give the tire excellent directional stability, as well as significantly reduce rolling resistance, which, in turn, led to an improvement in fuel efficiency indicators.
High load-carrying capacity
Among other beneficial features of this model, one cannot help but note quite high load-carrying capacity indicators. To a large extent, they are provided by a very robust multi-layer carcass structure, the basis of which is a deformation-resistant solid metal cord. Another factor that ensured the tire's excellent load-carrying capacity is the tread pattern design. Thanks to it, the external load is distributed very evenly over the contact patch. As a result, it was possible to increase not only the load-carrying capacity but also the resistance to uneven wear, which, in turn, increased the service life of the tire.
