Massive central tread blocks
Unlike the shoulder zones, the central part of the tread, which also features longitudinal ribs, consists of a multitude of separate elements, namely blocks of complex configuration with smoothed corners. Notably, they have very massive dimensions, which provides the contact patch with a multitude of very long traction edges at any given time. This allows the tire to demonstrate reliable and very stable behavior even in the most unfavorable weather conditions.
Reinforced shoulder zone design
In turn, the shoulder zones do not contain any separate elements, featuring a solid and very rigid construction. This is due to the goals that this part of the tread is intended to achieve during movement. It involves maximizing the expansion of the contact patch, giving it a rectangular shape, which in turn leads to the optimization of the distribution of external pressure on the support surface and an increase in load capacity and resistance to uneven wear.
