The commercial tyre Lanvigator TL002 is designed specifically for trailer equipment used in long-haul and regional freight transport. During development, particular attention was paid to the evenness of wear, resistance to damage, and preservation of reliable grip properties on wet road surfaces.
Optimised design for the trailer axle
The tread pattern is a combination of massive longitudinal ribs. The very rigid elements effectively absorb longitudinal and transverse loads that occur when moving a heavy semi-trailer, supporting stable movement during braking, cornering, and lane changes, as well as reducing rolling resistance, improving fuel efficiency. Effective water drainage
The grooves located between the longitudinal ribs, due to their increased volume, quickly drain water from under the tyre, maintaining reliable grip on wet surfaces. The narrow slits in the ribs additionally increase the intensity of this process, providing more effective deceleration without allowing the wheel to lock up.
Long service life
The basis is a all-steel carcass, the design of which is calculated for intense operation with a high weight load. It works in synergy with the compound, which effectively resists abrasive wear, cracking, and overheating, increasing the tyre's mileage.
