Description Lanvigator SL103
In the commercial tyre segment for heavy machinery, the Lanvigator SL103 model is positioned as a high-tech product, combining a calculated tread pattern geometry and an innovative polymer compound composition.
Grip and directional stability
When developing the tread pattern, engineers opted for a classic, yet modernized, four-rib structure. This scheme provides the maximum contact patch area.
The closed shoulder ribs deserve special attention. This design feature acts as a stabilizer. When performing high-speed maneuvers or under lateral loads, they prevent deformation of the contact area, ensuring a predictable trajectory of movement. The two central zones of the tread are equipped with a complex system of differently directed lamellas and grooves. Their edges reliably fix the tyre on a wet surface, generating excellent traction forces.
Balance of hardness and elasticity
The main feature of the model lies in the molecular composition of the compound. A formula with an increased content of high-viscosity polymers was applied here. On the one hand, the tyre retains sufficient carcass stiffness to resist overheating. On the other hand, the compound remains sufficiently elastic to "envelop" the micro-roughness of the asphalt. This dampens vibrations and, most importantly, prevents abrasive wear. The result is an increased resource and preservation of characteristics.
Key features of the Lanvigator SL103:
- certified for the steering axle of commercial vehicles (trucks, semi-trailers);
- specialized wear-resistant compound ensures high traction and even wear;
- four-rib design with rigid shoulder areas provides impeccable track holding and simplifies the maneuvering process;
- a well-thought-out network of deep water channels minimizes the risk of losing control on a wet surface.
