Description Lanvigator DM325
Lanvigator DM325 — a highly specialized tool designed to operate at the limits of its capabilities. The model is positioned as a flagship solution for the driving axles of dump trucks, quarry equipment, and construction tractors.
High-strength carcass
The basis is a radial structure with a layer thickness of 22PR. Each layer of cord is an additional reserve of strength, allowing the tyre to withstand colossal loads: up to 4625 kg on a single tyre and 3750 kg on a dual tyre. The recommended pressure of 930 kPa provides an optimal contact patch, minimizing rolling resistance and preventing overheating on long routes.
Self-cleaning and aggressive traction
The tread pattern is the result of computer modeling of loads in extreme conditions. The developers have focused on an open shoulder area with massive tread lugs. This geometry performs two critically important functions:
- deep grooves and a sparse block structure prevent the tread from clogging with mud and gravel;
- the angle of the shoulder elements is optimized for transmitting torque to the surface. This is especially noticeable when starting from a standstill on inclines and when maneuvering on loose surfaces.
Rubber compound and sidewalls
The compound contains reinforced polymer additives that increase resistance to cuts and abrasive wear. However, the key engineering finding is the reinforced sidewalls. The sidewall is the most vulnerable spot when driving over sharp objects, and here the manufacturer has added an extra layer of rubber and cord, which works like local armor.
Key features of Lanvigator DM325:
- designed for the driving axles of dump trucks, tractors, and construction equipment operated in quarries, construction sites, and dirt roads;
- extreme load capacity;
- thickened sidewalls and a special tread compound effectively resist cuts, punctures, and abrasive wear;
- the open shoulder area and a depth of 24 mm guarantee stable traction on viscous and loose soils without clogging the tread pattern;
- even wear, reduced rolling resistance, and increased tread life compared to analogs.
