The commercial tire Landy Tire 308 with a developed block system of the tread provides excellent traction and towing properties. It is characterized by increased sensitivity of handling and protection against mechanical damage.
The model was developed using modern computer simulation methods. Thanks to this, it was possible to achieve the optimal location of block structures, in which the efficiency of traction is closely related to low noise and fuel efficiency. The basis of the tread is four ribbed structures formed from individual blocks. Forming numerous lugs, they contribute to the improvement of passability and resistance to cuts and punctures. The presence of a developed system of drainage channels, at the bottom of which there are stone ejectors, contributes to the maintenance of cleanliness of the contact zone with the road surface. This same factor is the basis for the effectiveness of traction and braking.
