The Landspider Longtraxx DR660 commercial tire is designed for use on the drive axles of highway tractors. It features improved traction and grip on wet and snowy surfaces, while maintaining good fuel efficiency and resistance to damage for its class.
The tread pattern is characterized by small blocks, the small size of which has allowed to increase the number of elements and the number of edges formed by them. They allow to effectively realize the traction effort on snow, while maintaining good stability at high speeds in such conditions. The traction properties are further enhanced by numerous lamellas with sharpened edges, cut across the entire tread. These same elements, giving the blocks some mobility, improve the stability of the tire's tread to wear, making it more even under the influence of heavy weight. The durability of the tread to wear is also ensured by the "chessboard" arrangement of the blocks, optimizing the distribution of load on the tire's contact patch with the road surface.
