The Kumho KRS50 commercial tire is favorably distinguished by a wide range of applications. This model is installed on the steering axle of high-capacity trucks and special equipment, or on all axles of buses. The versatility is due to the high efficiency in both regional and long-haul transportation. The tire is characterized by precise handling, reduced rolling resistance, and reliable traction in difficult road conditions.
The tread pattern contains two functional sections that give the tire balanced ride qualities. One of them is the central part, consisting of three longitudinal ribs. Each of these elements contains long sinusoidal lamellas. With their help, high efficiency of the tread is maintained when braking on wet pavement and resistance to aquaplaning. The shoulder ribs, on the other hand, have a solid structure and are increased in size. The stiffness of these elements prevents uneven wear, reduces rolling resistance, and gives quickness and precision in response to steering.
Key features:
- a wide range of applications due to the possibility of installation not only on trucks, but also on special equipment and high-capacity buses;
- lamellas in the three central ribs improve traction on wet pavement;
- rigid shoulder ribs reduce wear and rolling resistance, improve handling.
