The central part is a very wide longitudinal rib consisting of many very massive blocks of the Kapsen HS918 complex polygonal configuration. Such a design provides the tire with good directional stability and low rolling resistance on asphalt roads while maintaining high traction properties off-road.
In turn, the shoulder zones contain many double quadrangular blocks arranged transversely relative to the direction of movement. During movement, they form a large number of transverse ribs that stretch from one side of the tread to the other. Such a configuration provides a contact patch with very long transverse edges, due to which the tire demonstrates exceptionally high traction properties, primarily on soils with low bearing capacity.
Self-cleaning tread
In addition to the large number of individual blocks, it is worth noting the significant distance between them. It is more than enough for the tread to self-clean even from large stones that get stuck in it when driving outside roads with a solid surface. This significantly increases reliability and cross-country ability, which further expands the scope of application of this tire.
