Description Kapsen HS106
The Kapsen HS106 truck tire is one of the practical results of close cooperation between the Chinese tire industry and world leaders in this sector, starting from Continental and ending with Michelin. It is this factor that explains the presence in this model, designed for axles of trucks, very high operational characteristics for its cost. It is distinguished by excellent coupling properties on a wet road, low rolling resistance, and a very long service life.
6-rib tread pattern
This tire is equipped with a typical symmetric non-directional tread pattern for models of this purpose. It contains six longitudinal ribs separated by wide drainage grooves. At the same time, each of these tread elements has a solid structure without any additional components, which makes them perfectly resistant to dynamic deformation. This feature allows the tire to demonstrate excellent directional stability when moving at high speed, as well as very low rolling resistance.
Reinforced shoulder area design
Unlike the four longitudinal ribs located in the central part of the tread, its shoulder areas have a much more rigid and massive design. This feature has provided the Kapsen HS106 tire with a number of advantages. One of them is the optimized distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, which, in turn, led to a significant increase in load capacity and resistance to uneven wear.
In addition, it is impossible not to mention another undeniable advantage of this shoulder area design. It allowed increasing the size of the contact patch, giving it a configuration close to rectangular, which remains unchanged regardless of external factors. As a result, the tire demonstrates excellent coupling on a dry road, along with stable and predictable handling.
Main features of the Kapsen HS106 tire
- the tire was developed using the latest technological developments provided by the leaders of the world tire industry;
- six longitudinal ribs with a very rigid design provide excellent directional stability and excellent fuel economy;
- a very long service life due to a rubber compound resistant to abrasive wear, punctures, and cuts, as well as optimized distribution of external pressure over the contact patch using a reinforced shoulder area design.
