The irregularly shaped elements in the central zone are arranged according to the principle of a chessboard, but with a slight shift. This arrangement creates a wide and stable contact patch, which reduces the specific pressure and heat, suppresses noise, and as a result, reduces rolling resistance. The shoulder areas feature medium-sized, reinforced blocks with differently directed sharp edges.
