Description Кама И-281
Released today in Tatarstan, the Kama I-281 cargo tire is noticeably different from its previous version, produced over a decade ago. The use of modern technologies and materials has allowed for minimal costs to significantly improve a range of operational characteristics, from carrying capacity to service life. At the same time, all its main advantages, namely exceptional reliability and versatility of application, have remained unchanged.
Rhomboid blocks
This model owes its versatility to a large extent to the non-obsolete design of the central part of the tread. It contains a multitude of longitudinally arranged rhomboid-shaped blocks that form four continuous ribs during movement. This allows the tire to demonstrate excellent traction and fuel efficiency on the highway, as well as confident behavior off paved roads.
Reinforced shoulder area design
In turn, the shoulder areas of the tread are characterized by the presence of trapezoidal blocks. They perform several functions at once. First and foremost, this is ensuring stability during maneuvers, which they handle quite well. Additionally, the shoulder blocks, due to their rigid design, significantly optimize the distribution of external pressure across the contact patch, making it more even. Thanks to this, the tire is extremely resistant to uneven wear and also withstands prolonged operation under heavy loads without issue.
Key features of Kama I-281
- wide range of applications due to a universal tread pattern, equally well-suited for operation on both highways and dirt roads;
- longitudinally arranged rhomboid blocks in the center improve directional stability and traction properties, reduce rolling resistance and noise level;
- trapezoidal blocks in the shoulder areas provide stability during maneuvering, prevent uneven wear, and increase carrying capacity.
