Description Кама 402
Released by a well-known Russian manufacturer, the universal cargo tire Kama 402 is designed for installation on the wheels of all axles of trucks of various carrying capacities.
The design of the directed tread pattern of the tire features pronounced off-road characteristics. The tire tread is equipped with a multitude of individual blocks of various geometric shapes, arranged on the tread in a "herringbone" scheme. This scheme allows increasing the area of the tire's contact patch, while significantly improving the traction and coupling characteristics of the Kama 402 tire, reducing rolling resistance, and also decreasing the braking distance. The optimally selected distance between the rows of the "herringbone" in the central part of the tread provides excellent self-cleaning capabilities without significantly reducing the area of the tire's contact patch.
The distance between the rows of the "herringbone" in the shoulder zones of the tread is substantially increased, which turns the blocks located in this part of the tread into full-fledged traction devices, improving the vehicle's passability on difficult terrain.
The composition of the rubber mixture of model 402 is selected with regard to the specifics of off-road operation and contains a number of components that increase wear resistance, resistance to punctures and cuts. The tire withstands all the hardships of operation on domestic roads.
Main features of the Kama 402 cargo tire
- Excellent traction and short braking distance on dry, wet, and snowy roads are provided by the original tread pattern;
- Increased passability due to the large number of blocks with sharp edges;
- Low rolling resistance, despite the specific design of the tire tread;
- Excellent self-cleaning capabilities of the tread, provided by the large distance between the blocks.
