Description Кама 312
The scope of application of the Kama 312 commercial tire is light trucks, minibuses, and microbuses operated in both urban and regional transportation. It is distinguished by its increased resource, stable coupling properties regardless of weather conditions, and enhanced reliability. The tire was created using solutions borrowed from commercial models for heavy trucks.
The tire's tread is made in a classic symmetric design with four longitudinal ribs divided by deep drainage grooves. This structure provides stable coupling with the road and efficient water drainage, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. The central zone with two longitudinal ribs increases directional stability and steering accuracy, while the massive shoulder blocks with extended coupling edges ensure confident behavior on turns and even pressure distribution across the entire tread width.
The model's carcass is made using modern technology, where the breaker is reinforced with a cord made of steel wire of a smaller diameter. This increases the strength of the structure while maintaining flexibility and comfort on uneven roads. The reinforced sidewalls protect against mechanical damage when contacting curbs and ensure a stable tire shape under load, increasing its mileage during frequent longitudinal accelerations.
The tire's rubber compound is created using heat-resistant synthetic rubbers and micro-dispersed silica, which improves coupling on wet roads and reduces heat generation. The use of Low-Heat Polymer technology has allowed reducing rolling resistance and, as a result, lowering fuel consumption. The increased resistance to abrasive wear ensures an extended resource on intense routes.
Key features of Kama 312:
- symmetric tread with deep drainage grooves and two rigid longitudinal ribs in the central part;
- reinforced steel breaker and sidewalls using All-Steel Light Structure technology;
- rubber compound with silica for strength and economy.
