The Hifly HH308a commercial tire is used on the driving axles of highway tractors. It is characterized by excellent traction and coupling properties on slippery surfaces, including in winter.

The tread pattern has a directional design, which further enhances traction and coupling properties. The numerous blocks are arranged in a "checkerboard" pattern, increasing the contact patch and reducing wear. The longitudinal orientation of the elements reduces rolling resistance and improves directional stability at high speeds. The Z-shaped grooves in the blocks improve traction on slippery surfaces. The numerous drainage grooves provide high resistance to aquaplaning.
