The summer tire Headway HD626 is very popular among truck owners. It has increased passability and excellent reliability, which was achieved through the use of the latest materials and modern technologies. After production, the tire undergoes thorough electronic and visual quality control, which prevents defective products from entering the market.
Massive tread pattern
The tread pattern consists of six rows of massive blocks with sharp edges. This makes the tire have increased passability, even when driving off-road.
Deep channels between the blocks provide rapid water and mud drainage, as well as prevent stones from getting stuck in the tread. The optimal shape of the Headway HD626 sidewalls ensures an increased contact patch and reduced rolling resistance. As a result, stability has increased and fuel consumption has decreased while driving. The reinforced shoulder area reliably protects the tread from lateral damage and increases stability when cornering.
New additives in the rubber compound
When developing the rubber compound, new additives were used that allowed improving the operational characteristics of the tread. The high content of silica provided increased elasticity to the rubber. As a result, the tread's recovery properties became much better, the ride comfort increased, and the load on the suspension elements decreased. Silicon was used to increase the tread's wear resistance. This made it possible to increase the tire's mileage even when operated in difficult conditions. Also, the resulting rubber compound has increased protection against overheating, reducing the risk of cracks and damage that often occur when driving in difficult conditions.
Key features of Headway HD626
- massive tread blocks increase stability and handling;
- a large number of lamellas and channels prevent possible aquaplaning and reduce noise while driving;
- the reinforced shoulder area provides reliable protection against punctures and damage;
- the new rubber compound reduces tire overheating, increasing its service life;
- the increased elasticity of the tread reduces the load on the suspension elements and increases driving comfort.
