Description Hankook DL20W
The commercial tire Hankook DL20W is installed on the drive axle of highway tractors. It is designed for use in cargo transportation over long distances. In such conditions, it is distinguished by its pronounced fuel-saving properties, long service life, and reliable coupling properties.
The tread pattern is directional, with four longitudinal rows of densely packed blocks in the central part. This design guarantees reduced rolling resistance and wear resistance, while maintaining high longitudinal coupling properties. On slippery surfaces, they are additionally enhanced by 3D lamellas distributed throughout the tread. The shoulder blocks are increased in size and rigidly connected to each other by wide "bridges". This solution increases the traction effort and reduces uneven wear. The reinforced breaker and tire carcass reduce its deformation, allowing for better control of traction and braking in complex road conditions, reducing rolling resistance.
Key features of Hankook DL20W
- the dense arrangement of blocks in the central part reduces rolling resistance and wear, increases longitudinal coupling;
- numerous "three-dimensional" lamellas ensure the effectiveness of the tire on slippery roads;
- the rigidity and increased size of the shoulder blocks increase the traction effort and resistance to uneven wear.
