Greentrac GTRS1 – a summer tyre of commercial type, which is not afraid of the intense pace of courier deliveries and interregional transportation over medium distances. It is designed to preserve its properties for as long as possible in heavy operating conditions, where load capacity and reliability are top priority.
Closed design for managed traction
The basis is a tread pattern of the closed type, where massive, rigid blocks prevail. This solution is dictated by the requirement for geometric stability under high loads. In the central part, three solid longitudinal ribs are located. This architecture solves three problems at once:
- optimization of rolling resistance;
- ensuring directional stability at high speeds, which is critical for long trips on highways;
- minimizing uneven wear — the continuous ribs work as a whole, distributing the load on the contact patch evenly.
Responsibility for maneuverability and resource
The "shoulders" of the tyre are made massive and, importantly, do not have transverse breaks throughout the circumference. This solution has a dual effect. The rigidity of the shoulder prevents deformation under lateral loads — the vehicle remains obedient to the steering wheel even on sharp turns. The absence of breaks eliminates "saw-tooth" wear, which is often found in tyres with interrupted shoulder blocks. This significantly extends the overall resource.
Additionally, the edges of the tread have a trapezoidal profile. This geometry smoothly expands the contact patch to the edges, reducing stress concentration and providing stable grip during maneuvering.
Formula for endurance
Here, the compound composition has been revised, with an emphasis on combining abrasive resistance and elasticity. Modified polymers with a high molecular structure have been introduced into the recipe, which increase resistance to wear without losing grip.
Special attention is paid to protection against punctures and cuts — a common problem for commercial tyres. Additives based on carbon nanoparticles increase the strength of the rubber against rupture, reducing the risk of damage.
Reinforced carcass
The multi-layer construction with a metal cord in the belt provides maximum carrying capacity while maintaining an acceptable level of deformation. This reduces the impact loads on the suspension and the chassis itself, which is especially valuable for vehicles operating on poor urban roads.
Key features of Greentrac GTRS1:
- closed tread pattern with three continuous "ribs" — reduced rolling resistance, improved directional stability, and even wear;
- inclined elongated block edges — improved grip on wet roads and reliable braking in any weather conditions;
- shoulder "ribs" without breaks — stability in turns, prevention of saw-tooth wear, and durability of the sidewall areas;
- high-strength rubber compound with enhanced protection against punctures and cuts.
