Goodyear Urbanmax MCD – a tire for urban buses, installed on the driving axle. It is designed for year-round operation, characterized by an increased service life (up to 40%) compared to analogs, improved traction on wet asphalt and handling sensitivity.
The model uses a three-dimensional lamella technology, which provides effective traction on snowy and wet roads. Additionally, the tire is equipped with an efficient drainage system, which quickly clears the contact patch, preventing sludging and aquaplaning. The block structure of the tread is designed to close the elements during maneuvering, increasing the contact area. This factor positively affects traction and preserves handling sensitivity.
The used rubber compound contains a large amount of new-generation polymers, which contribute to reduced wear and decreased rolling resistance. This achieves fuel efficiency.
