The commercial tire Goodyear Omnitrac S Heavy Duty is designed for trucks operated in "mixed" conditions, i.e. not only on asphalt roads, but also on dirt surfaces. It is installed on the steering axle. It is characterized by increased carrying capacity, resistance to damage, high mileage and improved traction properties on loose surfaces.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a large number of blocks. The bidirectional edges formed by them provide stability on dirt surfaces. The distribution of elements along the longitudinal ribs reduces rolling resistance and improves steering accuracy on asphalt roads. Another feature of the tire is the presence of a special compound casing. It protects the steel cord from mechanical damage and corrosion, and provides the possibility of repeated restoration of the tire's tread.
