The Goodyear KMAX T GEN-2 commercial tire is used on the trailer axle of high-capacity trucks. A universal application model, well suited for use on both high-speed highways and regional highways and urban roads. It is characterized by increased load-carrying capacity, resistance to damage, and high mileage.
The tread is made of a special rubber compound with increased resistance to abrasive wear, and its depth is increased. This provides the tire with high mileage. The service life can be significantly extended thanks to the all-steel carcass. It allows for the restoration of the tire's tread. The tread pattern has a closed design with wide solid ribs that reduce rolling resistance, increase wear resistance, and provide trajectory stability when towing. Numerous slots allow for effective realization of braking effort even on wet pavement, reducing the risk of so-called "scalloped" wear.
