The cargo tire GT Radial GTL925 was specifically designed for trailers and semi-trailers used for transporting goods over long distances on asphalt-concrete roads. Due to the specific features of operation, this model has a number of distinctive features, among which it is particularly worth noting the high indicators of directional stability and fuel efficiency.

Since this tire was initially intended exclusively for installation on trailers and semi-trailers, its design contains a number of characteristic features that take into account the specific operating conditions. First and foremost, this is the strength and resistance to dynamic deformations that occur during movement, which was achieved by reinforcing both the tire carcass and its breaker layer.

In addition, the tread was divided into several functional zones, each of which provides only a strictly defined range of characteristics. In fact, there are only two - the central part, occupied by five longitudinal ribs, and the shoulder zones located on both sides of the tread pattern. All these tread elements, due to the fact that they do not have interruptions throughout their length, are characterized by high rigidity, which allows the tire to maintain directional stability at any speed.

Another result of strengthening the carcass and minimizing the number of tread edges is the reduction of rolling resistance. As a result, this tire demonstrates excellent fuel efficiency.

Long service life

Another advantage of the tread pattern of the GT Radial GTL925 tire is its high resistance to uneven wear, which negatively affects its service life. To combat this phenomenon, the company's specialists significantly strengthened the shoulder zones, while increasing their size. In combination with the same size of the longitudinal ribs of the central part of the tread, this made it possible to achieve a more even distribution of external pressure on the contact patch. In turn, this led not only to a reduction in the likelihood of uneven wear, but also significantly increased the tire's carrying capacity.
