The commercial tire Giti GDR638 is installed on the driving axle. It is designed for regional and urban transportation. In such conditions, it stands out for its high mileage, high efficiency during acceleration and braking, and acoustic comfort.
The tread part of the tire is made from a rubber compound, the properties of which were specially selected taking into account the characteristics of tire operation on the driving axle. It has high strength and resistance to tearing and stretching, giving it resistance to abrasive wear. The elasticity of the compound provides the tread with increased efficiency on wet pavement. The tread contains a large number of blocks. They are arranged at an angle, which reduces rolling resistance and increases the efficiency of their edges during longitudinal accelerations.
